Today's idea is directed at food - my favorite thing in the world!
In our busy daily life we rarely have time for a good lunch and would grab some fast food or some snack for lunch. But, we all know how unhealthy and expensive this can be!
So what I do is bring my own easy peasy lunch box. I don't prepare anything special for lunch, just cook for a person more.
Usually, I have the same lunch as the dinner I have had the previous day. But this can be boring sometimes. So when I cook, I sometimes freeze a portion of the food and label it. This way I have a ready lunch for a day that I didn't cook or want something different.
I just take out the frozen batch from the freezer the previous night and have it ready to consume by the morning.
Another thing I did with my colleague at work is to take turns to bring lunch - I was sure of her cooking skills, though. In this way I don't have to bring lunch every day, and there is an element of surprise!
