I am here today with your daily unusual gift idea. If I have to be honest, I love gifts with a long term effect - something you can read and find the meaning later, something that will show itself after a couple of weeks and still remind the receiver how special they are. I am not into gifts that you can put in a drawer, you know.
So, today's tip is for a mystery plant :) Yes!
How to do it? If you are into gardening this will be a piece of cake:
1) Get a beautiful, painted, original pot for your plant
2) Get the bulb/seeds from you bank or from the local gardening shop
If you are experienced gardener, choose the plant yourself, adding a little personal touch to it, but if not, just ask in the gardening shop. Explain them what your goal is - surprise obviously - and I am sure they will be excited to help. Choose a plant that is easy to take care of, and will grow beautiful.
3) Plant it and wrap it in packaging paper.
4) Write small instruction note:
"This is a mystery plant. It wants water once a day, a lot of sunlight and unconditional love. If you put in the right ingredients it will reveal its secret in 11 days" or something like that.
5) Gift it and enjoy the experience!
