Hello, everyone!
This is Tonka - your vegan and not vegan food lover (I am going to hell for gluttony) with a quick and super delicious recipe from my childhood!
This cake can be made vegan or not so whatever you prefer. I make and eat it during fasting when I go completely vegan for a month or so.
So what you need:
For the vegan version:
-300 gr vegan tea biscuits - the simpler the better into crumbs
-200 gr margarine - or as much as the biscuits need to get sticky
- sugar - at least 3-4 table spoons
- cacao - also 2-3 table spoons
- coconut/vanilla/etc. flavor if you want
For the non-vegan version:
-300 gr cacao tea biscuits - the simpler the better into crumbs
-200 gr melted butter - or as much as the biscuits need to get sticky
- sugar - at least 3-4 table spoons
- cacao - also 2-3 table spoons or chocolate crumbs
- coconut/vanilla/etc. flavor if you want
Both versions are delicious! So just mix everything in a big bowl so that it will become a sticky but not fatty mix. If it is too buttery just add some more biscuits. There is no best way - you have to figure out the best amount of butter according to your taste.
Open a 30x30 cm (12x12 inch) aluminium foil sheet and put the mixture on it. Design a long, about 10 cm (5 inch) thick cake - not round but rectangular (or why not try round and share the results with us in the comments). Then wrap it in the foil very good and put it in the freezer overnight.
On the next day just take out and cut into thin pieces removing the foil! Enjoy!
