I have to first share with you how happy I am that summer is not over yet here in Turkey!
I just love summer with all its fresh vegetables and fruits.

I want to give you an idea for both healthy life and wonderful gift: make and bake.
If you are already into composting or making your own jams this will be a piece of cake for you. Where I live, in Turkey, a lot of people still make their own jams, tomato paste, pepper paste, different composts and pickles.
I think one of the best gifts for a home maker or a hostess is a jar of home made tomato paste. If you already make your own jam, just make some extra this year, and share the love!
Imagine you go to a house warming party - bring a beautifully packaged and labeled jam, or three different ones if you are inspired.
You don't need to make them especially for the occasion - just when you make your chutney make some extra, and have it on hand for the next event.
I won't give you any recipes or so, because there are much more experienced jam makers than me out there ;) But I am challenging you, to start giving strawberry jam as gifts! If you send me one too, I won't mind :)
