DIY Containers

Hey, everyone!

I am Tonka from pEri!x - the brand for upcycled jewelry and gifts! And I am here to give you your daily unusual home & gift idea.

Today I will talk about organizing. I love organizing things and making them look less and prettier (until the next time someone opens the cupboard, as it seems my household mates are not so fond of organizing)

I generally use jars for organizing everything or almost everything. Especially in the kitchen and the study they are very handy.

I always use upcycled glass jars that come with some kind of food. I always wash them thoroughly and decorate them to use around.

So for today's idea you need:

1. Glass jars of any kind
2. Glass paint - I used blackboard paint for my last project (now they have it in green, too, isn't that awesome?)
2. Brush

Well, it is self explanatory - paint the jars and the lids on the outside. It is easy, although it can be messy. Let dry and use!

Some tips - if you want to cover the whole jar in paint use blackboard paint so you can write with a chalk what is in it. Otherwise just leave one inch unpainted at the bottom side so that you can see what is inside even if there is a little left.

Go crafty!

Cheers
Tonka
