Eco Friendly Dishwasher

Hey, there!

Happy Sunday! I love Sundays - so much free time to do all the housework I adore, especially washing dishes, laundry, mmmmm I dream about it all week!

NOT!

I hate washing the dishes :D I guess you do, too, and that's why I have a dishwasher. But, you know dishwashers are so un-eco friendly, using too much water for every cycle. So, one little trick from me to make your dishwasher at least a little bit more eco-friendly is to use natural detergents.

How? With baking soda and vinegar.

Those two are the natural cleaning agents I use in my home (the details in another post). For my dishwasher I use the vinegar instead of rinse away helper. My dishes are sparkling and shiny! You can put it in the rinse aid dispenser and it will be released every time you use the dishwasher. Cheaper and eco friendly. The baking soda you can use instead of the dishwasher powder to enhance the washing.

This was the unusual gift & home idea of the day from Tonka, yes, that's me. Look forward to my daily ideas how to make your life unusual. If you want to find eco friendly gifts and jewelry go check my shop:
